EMOTIONS AFTER TRAVELING ON LIGURIAN COAST OF ITALY AND TUSCANY

Every region of Italy is beautiful and special at the same time. Traveling around this country is always incredibly exciting, ancient cities, picturesque landscapes, mountain air, blue bays and, of course, a kitchen that deserves special praise. Therefore, I want to share my emotions after an unforgettable journey.
Our journey to Italy began from the region of Tuscany and Florence. The city was remembered by a huge number of people and at the same time a pleasant atmosphere. As for all major monuments, in order to enter the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, you must stand in a long line. And inside, besides the work of Domenico di Michelangelo, Paulo Uchchelo, Giovanni Acuto, there is something to see. Externally, the grandiose cathedral (Duomo) is also impressive, as well as Giotto’s Bell Tower and the Church of Santa Croce. It is also pleasant to walk along the Signoria Square and walk along the oldest bridge of the city – Ponte Vecchio. The old bridge has retained its original appearance – the construction of three arches. A distinctive feature of this bridge is a line of small houses that are crowded on both sides of the bridge. These are just a few places to see in Florence, and there are plenty of them. In this city, you can wander through the streets for days and constantly come across interesting locations for photos, squares, sculptures, museums, galleries or churches.
Having walked around the magical Florence, we drove towards the Ligurian coast to the town of Thyrenia and Calambrone, near Pisa on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The town is very picturesque, restaurants with delicious cuisine and homemade wine, azure sea and a very cozy atmosphere created a sense of relaxation.

Then we went to travel along the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Visited the city of La Spezia, located in the bay, which is called the “Bay of Poets.” Byron, Dante, Shelley and George Sand were here and enjoyed the picturesque scenery.
Along with La Spezia, at a distance of 5 km, is the Cinque Terre, a national park that includes five small settlements on the shores of the Gulf of Genoa. When traveling around the La Spezia region, you must take a camera with you. There are many breathtaking panoramas that are worth taking a picture of the memory of this wonderful land. Another good place in this region is Sestri Levante. Its peculiarity is that it is washed by the sea from three sides. And one of the bays is called “The Bay of Tales”, according to legend, as Hans Christian Anderson called it. Every year at the end of spring a festival of fairy tales is held here. Then we moved to Chiavari. This is a very cute town with a good promenade, excellent service and excellent restaurants.
The next place of our journey was the city of Sanremo. The beautiful promenade in flowers and picturesque beaches have left pleasant memories after the trip. Here you can see the Villa Alfred Nobel, stroll through the quarter of La Pinha and enjoy the tropical vegetation. Although it is worth noting that the resort gives the impression of a bit abandoned. And it essentially loses near the luxurious city-state of Monaco and its Monte-Carlo district, just 30 km from Sanremo. Monaco striking luxury, beauty. Especially amazing panoramas are opened from the road that goes to the city. Monte Carlo in full view. Cannes is located 50 km from Monaco on the Cote d’Azur. It is especially beautiful at the time of preparation for the Cannes Film Festival. Many reporters, luxury cars and beautiful shops. And, of course, wonderful beaches.
The last but one stop we had was the city of Pisa. Probably there is no such tourist who, having visited this city, would not leave to himself a photo with the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Although the historical center is not big, but there is something to see. Particularly interesting is the Pisa Cathedral, the ensemble of which includes the famous leaning tower.
Leaning Tower
Our last stop was Bologna. There are a lot of historical monuments in the city, it is better to examine them using a comfortable sightseeing bus, especially if there is not much time. And, of course, this city is for shopping lovers, there are shops for every taste and budget.
Italy is a country that will not leave anyone indifferent and makes you want to come back here again and again.
