If you decide to rest in another country, you cannot do without travel insurance. Firstly, it is required when applying for a visa, and secondly, an insurance policy is a guarantee that in case of unforeseen expenses related to health, the insurance company compensates them.
How travel insurance works
When buying insurance, choose the possible insurance risks depending on the conditions of the country to which you are going, and the planned type of rest. Under extreme conditions, for example, injuries are possible. The greater the number of insurance risks made to the policy, the higher its value, and at the same time your peace of mind.
If something happened (injury, something got sick, I caught the appendicitis), that is, the insured event specified in the policy occurred, dial the phone number indicated in the document to inform the insurers about the problem. In the telephone mode, they should clearly state the sequence of actions in your situation.
Types of insurance
Basic (provided when applying for a visa).
Extended (assumes compensation for damage to health).

It is equally important that all costs associated with treatment are documented. That is, it is necessary to collect and keep all prescriptions for medicines, invoices, invoices, medical reports, checks and their copies. All this will be needed for compensation. For safety net, it is desirable that the assistance supervises all the documentation and promptly suggest what is missing so that the insurance company does not refuse to pay the costs.
After returning to Ukraine at the office of the insurance company, you will write an application for reimbursement of expenses and attach a full package of documents:
insurance policy;
copy of passport;
medical papers (prescriptions for medicines, checks, etc.).
